Born in Torino in 2008 from the encounter of producers Gabriele Concas and Matteo Marini, The Sweet Life Society has spent over fifteen years bringing its blend of bass music, hip hop, reggae, dub, jazz, brass and electronic sounds to festivals, clubs and venues across Europe — from Glastonbury, Boomtown and Lowlands to Paradiso Amsterdam and Village Underground London.
At the heart of the project, one simple idea: Good Vibes for the Masses — music as a tool for human connection, celebration and collective energy.
Today The Sweet Life Society performs in three different formats, designed for different contexts and budgets — from main-stage festivals to late-night clubs and intimate dancefloors.
The original and most complete Sweet Life Society experience. A powerful live show fusing MCs and vocalists, a full brass section, live instruments, drum machines, samplers and electronic production — vintage sounds, reggae, hip hop, dub and bass music in one.
A more electronic and flexible version, built around a DJ and live dub setup and enriched by live vocals, MCs and brass. Original tracks meet the best of the global bass scene — drum & bass, dub, reggae, tropical and UK bass — evolving from a concert into a dancefloor journey.
Before touring as a live band, the duo spent years running parties, club nights and festival stages. The DJ Set distils fifteen-plus years of musical research into an eclectic, high-energy selection — global beats, bass music, reggae, funk, hip hop, tropical sounds and dancefloor classics.
